It has been reported that power lines were a key factor in the devastating Camp fire in California. It has been further reported that an upgrade of that line was planned and postponed yearly since 2013. Evidently the issue was clear enough to warrant attention yearly, but not enough to act upon. What’s the good of surfacing a risk, then doing nothing about it?
