From my local country radio station: “That last song was from Kenny Chesney as we continue to bring you thirty minutes commercial-free music. This commercial-free radio provided by XYZ Auto Dealerships. Now back to the music.”
That’s commercial free??
People know what a commercial is and they know when what you are saying is not exactly what you mean. For leaders, mixed signals slow people down and erodes trust.
Can we really improve things without changing things?
If people are our most important asset, why did we cut them first?
If the good of the organization is key, why are we incentivized to maximize our business unit results over corporate goals?
Now back to the music.
